We’re overjoyed to announce that the two of us will be going on tour with Conor Oberst. We’ll be opening for the genius songwriter on five European shows in January next year. We’ll play Zurich, Vienna, Munich, Berlin and Copenhagen. It’s going to be a stripped-down acoustic show and a very special and unique experience. We cannot wait to get back on the road with our dearest friend and co-writer of “King of the World”. We look forward to lots of harmonizing and collaborations.

Hey everybody Down Under!
Splendid news - we’re heading back to Australia in January next year for two headline shows. On January 2nd we’ll play the Forum Theatre in Melbourne and on January 3rd we’ll play the Concert Hall in the Sydney Opera House. Both shows go on sale on Friday Oct 5th at 9am. What a way to start 2013! We are absolutley thrilled and honored to play these legendary venues. We cannot wait. We hope to see you all there!

We didn’t see this coming, but here it is: the music video for “WOLF”. It’s directed by Johan Söderberg (no, we’re not related) and shot in the deep dark forest of Järvsö, Hälsingland.
“WOLF” is about our destruction of the plant. But it is also about finding the animal within you. Because we know that underneath that polished, civilized exterior there is definitely a wild creature longing to howl or roar.

Hi y’all!
Today is a big day: we’re releasing an exclusive iTunes session with 8 live recordings we did earlier in New York this year. This session was absolutely magical for us, a dream come true. The producer of “The Lion’s Roar”, Mike Mogis (from Bright Eyes), is playing on every track, bringing his amazing mandolin and pedal steel skills into the mix. We also played with a fantastic string trio, who really added a layer of beauty and depth to the tracks. This session features live versions of our favorite songs from the album and the only proper studio-recording of our cover of “Dancing Barefoot” by Patti Smith, re-arranged with a full band sound. We also re-arranged two old songs, “Waltz for Richard” from our debut album “The Big Black & The Blue” and “Our Own Pretty Ways” from our EP “Drunken Trees”: Conor Oberst even went in to do a guest appearance on “King of the World”!

Hej hej Sverige!
Vi kommer att göra tre spelningar i Sverige i höst. Det blir Cirkus i Stockholm den 28:e oktober (biljetter), Pustervik i Göteborg den 9:e november (biljetter) och KB i Malmö den 10:e november (biljetter). Vi ser verkligen jättemycket fram emot det här, vi har på känn att det kommer bli fantastiskt roligt. Hurra!!

Hey Everyone Down Under,
We are delighted to say that we’re coming back to Australia this year in December! We’ll be playing Falls Festival in Marion Bay (Tasmania) on the 30th of December and Lorne (Victoria) on the 31st. That means we’ll celebrate New Year’s Eve in Oz, which to us, is very exciting (and yes we’ll be performing our song “New Year’s Eve” on that very evening). Then we’ll go to Western Australia for the first time and play Southbound Festival in Busselton. Incredible! We cannot wait!

Here it is - the music video for our third single from “The Lion’s Roar” - “Blue”! This video tells the story of a lonely and bitter woman unwilling to leave her past behind, played by Swedish actress Ewa Fröling. It was shot at a beautiful old mansion called Höglundagård in Edsvalla, Sweden by director Daniel Wirtberg. We wanted to try something different this time and we think it turned out amazing. A lot of passion was put into this video by the actors and crew. We all hope you enjoy it.

Hey hey hey Europe!
We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be going on a European tour this winter. After the recent trip this February, which was amazing and to our big surprise completely sold out, we just have to come back for another run. We’ll be driving through Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Ireland and Great Britain. We’re sure it’s going to be one big fun adventure for us and we hope you can be part of it all. Oh, such excitement!

Ladies and Gentlemen of the United Kingdom,
We’re utterly delighted to announce that we’ll return to the UK to play a couple of shows in November. It’s going to be a very exciting run - we’ll start in London at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire (!!), then Manchester at Ritz, moving onto Glasgow and QMU and lastly we’ll play the Academy in Bristol.
